Well Done! New Sub/Liked. Maybe it's just the video but the first Brother sounds pretty loud/grating to my nerves.. It's important to me to have a quiet machine. I have 2 older Singers - both all metal of course - my mom's black w/ gold scrolls design w/ fold down feature in-cabinet and fold out leaf panel model sews like a liquid hum...and my Singer FashionMate from 60's is fairly subdued also.

I'm Brazilian, and the Singer 4423 is called Facilita Pro (kinda "make it easy for professionals) And for our standards it's definitively not for beginners, but for people who already does it professionally (as is 30% more expensive than the beginner's models. Which I think you'd call it sewing machine for children hahahah)

Man, what's your setup for filming? Sometimes seems like you have 4 cameras but I think probably you do many takes to get this quality For me, you're clearly a videomaker/cinematographer that happens to have a sewing hobby Your work have so much quality that you could easily create a masterclass... on FILMING hehehe What's your cameras/lenses/lights to achieve such crisp 4k image?

that's the problem with modern machines... I had the same model as you but found out that the vintage singer 15 and the 401 are the only ones that didn't give me problems. also the necchi vintage since they're all metal machines. I switched to a industrial pfaff 138 but still use my other machines 😊

I've been sewing over 50 years. Bridal, apparel, drapery, upholstery and now bagmaking. The best value? A vintage Singer or Kenmore. If you need zig zag and a variety of stitches, I'd go with a Kenmore 158-xxxxxx. If you only need a straight stitch, older Singers are tanks. My favorite machine of all time? My Juki DU1181n industrial walking foot. I have 5 other machines right now, but it's my go-to. Second is my Kenmore 158-17600. That was $75 on Marketplace in 2023.

i zig zag edges after sewing them together, its less work and as long as you do it as you go along it works great

All nice pickups! The white knit polo is the winner. I’d like the jersey tucked if it was slimmed in. The ballon poof throws your whole shape off. If you do crop it, would you split the side side seem and leave the back a little longer?
